Multitudes of color and texture, showing movement or tranquility, either exciting or subdued, are portrayed through Leigh Fahr's abstract works of art. Born and raised in Louisiana, Leigh studied oil painting under the guidance of Libby Johnson Crespo. Her mother's artistic abilities also influenced Leigh as she gained further knowledge in technique, composition, color, and creating a unique style.

Attending college in Dallas brought Leigh to Texas, where she has been living for nearly ten years. During Leigh's college experience, she spent much of her time abroad in Paris and the South of France where she studied the French language, culture and art. Leigh's curiosity and love of travel has led her to experience many adventures throughout Europe, Africa, North America, and Latin America. She draws her inspiration from nature's ability to produce magnificent sunrises, sunsets, and landscapes. Leigh's primary mediums are oil and acrylic.
